On one of the farms I worked at last summer, they used converted top loader washing machines as spinners to dry big batches of greens after washing. One of the three spinners was having problems keeping the basket/drum thing engaged on the motor because the hexagonal spline was so worn out. This particular spinner was probably 10 years old, at least. I designed and printed (out of tpu) a few orange spacers of different thickness and profiles to fill the gap created by this wear. After figuring out a design, I printed off a few copies and now if wears out again anyone can just swap in a new spacer.
